Students of the University of Tetova, from the Department of Informatics, within the Computer Science study program, participated in the international program “Bridge to Balkans 2026,” held on November 2, 2026, at the Innox Innovation Center in Skopje. Through this participation, students had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas and become part of a platform that promotes creativity, technological development, and youth entrepreneurship.

University of Tetova was represented at this event by two innovative projects developed by students Ar Imeri, Mal Hajrullai, Nuh Mehmedi, Fis Idrizi, Daut Asllani, and Artan Ceka. Their participation took place under the professional mentorship and guidance of MSc. Verda Misimi and Asst. Prof. Dr. Shkurte Luma-Osmani, Head of the Informatics study program, who contributed to the students’ preparation and guidance throughout this process.

Of particular importance to the University of Tetova is also its involvement in this program as an Ecosystem Partner. This collaboration creates new opportunities to expand student and young entrepreneur participation in initiatives aimed at developing innovative ideas, advancing creative potential, and building connections with various stakeholders within the regional innovation ecosystem.

The “Bridge to Balkans 2026” program is a supportive platform for young people who seek to transform their ideas into concrete initiatives with development potential. Through mentorship, professional guidance, project presentation preparation, and networking opportunities, the program contributes to enhancing participants’ skills and creating a favorable environment for the development of entrepreneurship and international cooperation.

During this event, students from the University of Tetova gained valuable experience, having the opportunity to further develop their project concepts, exchange ideas with other participants, and become more familiar with the practices involved in developing innovative projects. This experience represents an important step toward bridging academic knowledge with practical skills and the demands of today’s technological and entrepreneurial environment.

In this context, the Student Parliament of the University of Tetova also contributes to promoting such initiatives by supporting student engagement in activities that enrich their university experience and create opportunities for academic, professional, and personal development. Encouraging participation in international programs and innovative initiatives is an important element in strengthening the role of students and broadening their future perspectives.
