The Institute “Alb-Shkenca”, in cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Albania and the University of Tirana, organized the XX International Jubilee Meeting with the topic: “The contribution of the scientific diaspora to the integration into the European Research Area and the all-Albanian higher education system”.
As a participant in this jubilee meeting, the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, emphasized the importance of the scientific diaspora as a bridge connecting Albanian universities and research centers with their European counterparts. “The experience and knowledge of our scientists abroad help our institutions integrate more quickly into European standards, making them more competitive and more involved in international projects. This cooperation is not only essential for science but also a contribution to the affirmation of our cultural and national identity in Europe”, stated the Rector of the UT.
The jubilee meeting continued with a plenary session and proceedings in three scientific panels, where discussions focused on the role of the diaspora in higher education, the support of research institutions for development priorities, and the challenges of Albanology in the 21st century.
