The Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, together with his team, welcomed in a meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Greece to North Macedonia, Her Excellency Mrs. Sophia Philippidou, who was accompanied by Deputy Ambassador Christina Vasilatou and Judge Sotirios Tsouvalas.

In this meeting, they discussed academic cooperation between the University of Tetova and universities and research institutes from the country and the region, as well as the mission and vision of the University of Tetova and the role this institution plays in educational and scientific development in our country and beyond.

They also discussed the importance of building sustainable relationships with the aim of implementing joint scientific projects, exchanging students and academic staff, as well as organizing joint cultural and educational conferences and activities.

Her Excellency, Mrs. Sophia Philippidou, expressed her willingness to support any initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation between the educational institutions of the two countries. She appreciated the commitment of the University of Tetova to the development of higher education and the creation of spaces for international dialogue and cooperation.

Following this meeting, a professional lecture was held at the Legal Clinic of the Faculty of Law, delivered by Judge Sotirios Tsouvalas, on the topic: “Greek Civil Law”.
