Rector of University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili, today hosted in a working visit the Austrian Ambassador of our country, hic excellence Dr. Georg Woutsas. In this meeting also participated Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu, Vice Rector for International Cooperation of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Faton Shabani, Chief of Cabinet of the Rector of the Univeristy of Tetova, Doc. Dr. Hatibe Deari Zeqiri, head of the Office for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Berton Sulejmani, dean of Faculty of Philology, Mr. Sc. Osman Ismaili, Head of the Study Program- German Language and Literature, and Lazim Ahmedi from Austrian Corner, was discussed about the continuation of the cooperation between University of Tetova and the Embassy of Austria in our country.
After this meeting, they visited also Austrian Corner, where they gave about 150 books, which the government of the Austria donated to our University. “It is my pleasure to be here today. This is my second time I have been to the Austrian Corner, the Austrian library founded and maintained by Austria. We also had a meeting with the Rector, where the importance of cooperation with Austria was emphasized. This was also an opportunity to promote 148 books for the Austrian Corner, because it is important to have printed books, physical presence learning and not just online learning”, said the Austrian Ambassador, Dr. Georg Woutsas.
Whereas the Rector of University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili expressed his gratitude for this visit of the Austrian Ambassador to the University of Tetova. “Today we were honored that University of Tetova was visited by Ambassador of Republic of Austria, who on this occasion donated 148 books to the Austrian Corner as well as to the Faculty of Philology. Those donated books, certainly express gratitude and respect which the Austrian Embassy continuously expresses for the study program German Language and Literature.
Otherwise, this was the second visit of the Austrian Ambassador Georg Woutsas to the University of Tetova.
