The agreement aims at long-term cooperation between the two centers, to support their strategic goals in the field of building peace, security, transitional justice and the rule of law.
The leaders of the respective centers agreed that special importance should be given to the publications on the issues of transitional justice and peace building, as well as the organization of workshops, training and study visits.
The historical context of the post-war in Kosovo has been and continues to be that the victim is the focus of every debate thanks to the contribution of the Fund Humanitarian Law, which has continuously aimed to oppose the denial and political manipulation of human losses. Sublime lies in the fact that this organization for years has taken care that the victims have names and surnames. Only by confronting the past we can establish peace, promoting it unequivocally, through dialogue, education and training of students, students from the Faculty of Law, will be the main beneficiaries of this cooperation and from whom, in particular, is expected in the sphere of the rule of law and transitional justice and the implementation of its mechanisms” – stressed Mr. Sc. Donika Kamberi.
Meanwhile, Bekim Blakaj, the executive director of the Humanitarian Law Fund, has announced that the newly established partnership with the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication contributes to our final mission, in building peace, especially by confronting the past, the rule of law and transitional justice.
The Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication of the University of Tetova, with the signing of the above-mentioned agreement, is expected to further intensify its institutional activity in the service of peace and stability in the region and beyond.
