As part of the CEEPUS program, within the network: “SK-1018– Biology, Biotechnology, and Food Sciences,” the professor and expert from Hungary, Mr. Zoltán Győri, visited the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition.
In this inclusive program, with the support of the Hungarian professor, Mr. Zoltán Győri, students of the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition (FFTN) presented traditional Hungarian dishes. The event was attended by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, the Secretary-General, Adem Beadini, the Dean of FTUU, Prof. Dr. Xhezair Idrizi, as well as other professors and students of FFTN, who had the opportunity to taste the dishes prepared by the students. On this occasion, the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, congratulated the students on this activity, expressing hope that their successes will continue in the future.
The program coordinator from the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Erhan Sulejmani, stated that the agenda in question has provided a significant contribution and encouragement for students in their integration with the food industry of European Union countries. It has also enhanced cooperation as a potential for developing new professional capacities in our country.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition at the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Xhezair Idrizi, emphasized that such events in the future will contribute to increasing activities, enabling students to gain practical experience and insights that will bring new perspectives from experts in innovative technologies in the field of food engineering and nutrition. These activities will continue in the future with the organization of training sessions and specialized professional studies at the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition, providing a new training perspective with competent experts from European universities.
