On November 22, on the 116th anniversary of the Congress of Manastir, “Haxhi Zeka” University in Peja hosted a working meeting with the Rector of the University of Arts in Tirana and the deans of the faculties of arts from Kosovo and North Macedonia.

The meeting was organized at the initiative of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at HZU, Prof. Dr. Hysen Nimani, and included a rich agenda of discussions that addressed key topics for the future of artistic education in the region. Among the topics discussed were the review and harmonization of study program content in the field of arts, the organization of joint artistic activities, and the identification of opportunities for cooperation in the field of research and artistic development.

During the meeting, cooperation agreements were signed between the universities and their respective faculties, acts that laid the foundation for deepening academic and artistic relations between these institutions.

The delegation from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tetova was led by Dean Professor, Senad Abduli, Head of ECTS, Professor, Agron Abduli, and Associate Professor, Drenusha Palloshi.

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor, Senad Abduli, emphasized the importance of regional and national cooperation, especially in the context of improving teaching, scientific research, and the development of academic infrastructure. His proposal was to organize concrete joint activities and exchange academic staff across all study programs of the respective faculties. According to him, experience has shown that collective and coordinated actions between the relevant institutions are key to achieving success in every aspect of education, scientific research, and artistic development.
