On June 10, 2024, the Faculty of Arts concluded the 2023/24 academic year with traditional activities such as the opening of the annual exhibition by students of the Figurative Art study program, a concert by students of the Musical Art study program, and the presentation of the diploma project “Reservoir Dogs” by the students of the study program of Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts, which is a co-production between the University of Tetova and the Theater of Tetovo.

On the occasion of the jubilee year celebrating the 30th anniversary of the University of Tetova, several activities were organized. During the opening speech of the exhibition, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor, Senad Abduli, and the Head of the Figurative Art study program, Prof. Bashkim Mexhiti, inaugurated the mural “Art Will Save the World”, created by two painting students, Azra Tairi and Gentiana Hasani. The opening of the exhibition and the inauguration of the mural were moderated by the Vice Dean for Education, Assoc. Prof. Jëlldëz Asani. In recognition of their work on this mural, the students received gratitude from Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli and the President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti. Additionally, university leaders were present at all the activities yesterday.

On the occasion of the jubilee year, the Dean, in his speech, appreciated the work of the dean’s office, the staff of professors, and students, as well as the continuous support of the Rectorate for the teaching process and various activities carried out this year by the Faculty of Arts.

On this occasion, were bestowed two gratitude’s to two outstanding students of the generation, based on their average grades. The students, Ensar Fetahu and Armina Samahodaj, received these gratitude’s from Dean, Professor, Senad Abduli and Vice-Dean for Science Professor, Nora Halimi.

The annual exhibition revealed the selected work of students and professors of all disciplines such as graphic design, painting, sculpture, graphics and course of study of pedagogy.

Afterwards, the study program of Musical Art held a concert featuring performances by students, accompanied by their professors. In his welcoming speech, the head of the program, Prof. Bajramali Idrizi, expressed gratitude for the hard work of the professors and students, as well as for the participation of art lovers in the concert.

The day concluded successfully with a performance of the diploma project “Reservoir Dogs” at the Theater of Tetovo, featuring acting students directed by Assoc. Prof. Kushtrim Bekteshi, who is also the head of the Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts study program. The performance was applauded and highly appreciated by those present in the hall.
