The Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Prishtina marked today the 65th anniversary of its founding, as the oldest and leading institution in the field of social and human sciences in the Republic of Kosovo.
This important anniversary was attended by distinguished academic figures, among them the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti, as well as professors of this academic unit, Prof. Dr. Ibish Kadriu and Prof. Dr. Zeqirja Idrizi.
In his welcoming speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli emphasized the exceptional role of the Faculty of Philosophy in educating generations and in the development of scientific and social thought throughout the Albanian-speaking world. He also expressed his appreciation for the fraternal support that professors from the University of Prishtina have provided to the University
of Tetova, especially during its early years of foundation in 1994.

At the same time, I express our gratitude for the valuable contribution that your academic staff has given to the University of Tetova. The University of Prishtina and the University of Tetova, throughout their journeys, have faced many challenges, but thanks to the dedication and sacrifice of their professors and students, they have today reached competitive levels with prestigious universities in the region and beyond”,- said the Rector of the University of Tetova.
During this anniversary, the long-standing contribution of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Prishtina to the advancement of education, culture, and academic thought was highly recognized.
