The International Congress on Natural Health Sciences, and Technology was organized at the University of Tetova. In this great scientific event were present a large number of researches of relevant fields, who by presenting their scientific works help provide an effective forum for researchers and practitioners to advance knowledge, research and technology. This congress included five international scientific conferences and was organized in cooperation with the Sports University of Tirana, the University of Prishtina, the Polytechnic University of Tirana, the University of Trakya, the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi” and AAB College.
At the opening of the works of this congress, the Vice-Rector for Science of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Hazir Pollozhani said that after almost two years of interruption of the organization of activities with physical presence, today we all come together in this Congress, where besides exchanging new results from science, we now have the opportunity to meet each other and the pleasure of exchanges of new feeds in professional scientific fields. “Scientific research achieved in the address of the Congress, carries in itself the scientific and academic activity of about 850 scientific staff within all faculties, ensuring that the University of Tetova is known through scientific research, methods and innovations similar to those.
The Congress has an international character, with a board of close to 250 eminent professors, with well-known scientific activities in the international arena. In this conference were accepted 272 scientific papers, in all five Conferences, such as: 7th International Balkan Conference in Sports Sciences – 71 papers; 6th International Scientific Conference on Applied Sciences – 37 papers; 5th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Medical Sciences – 86 papers; 4th International Conference of Natural Sciences and Mathematics – 51 papers; 2nd International Conference on Food Technology and Nutrition – 27 papers.
The presentation of these papers will be realized in 29 separate parallel sessions. In this Congress, today are promoted also 5 new issues of scientific journals: Sport & Health – Vol. 8 number 15/16; JAS – SUT – Vol. 7 number 13/14; -Acta Medica Balkanica – Vol. 6 number 11-12; JNSM – Vol. 6, number 11-12; and International Journal of Food Technology and Nutrition – Vol. 4, number 7-8”- said among others the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Hazir Pollozhani.
This Congress was honored by the presence of the Minister of Health in our country, Bekim Sali. He, in his welcoming speech addressed to the audience said that in these types of professional events, we jointly contribute to the affirmation of medical sciences to face and overcome all local, regional and global health challenges. “It is precisely this common approach and mutual support. I feel honored that among you I see professors and scientific staff who with their work have been proven at home and abroad. It is precisely this common approach and mutual support of this kind that develops and encourages cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of medicine with the purpose of achieving better care for patients, which is our common challenge. These kinds of events coming after two year pause are a good opportunity for the advancement of professional debates in initiating new projects and visions for the modernization of the health system. “Human potential is a pillar of the health system and we are empowered in strengthening the infrastructure and advancing the status of medical staff”, emphasized the Minister of Health, Bekim Sali.
In the quality of co-organizer of this Congress, a greeting speech was given by the Rector of the Sports University of Tirana Prof. Dr. Agron Kasa. He considered this scientific organization as an event of special importance, not only for sports sciences but also for natural, health sciences and technology.
The Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of North Macedonia, Sasho Popovski, also greeted the proceedings of the Congress, followed by a professional lecture by the well-known traumatologist in our country and not only, Prof. Dr. Ilir Hasani, on the topic: Total and partial sacrectomy and their implementation as a new method in the Republic of North Macedonia “
As a sign of gratitude for participating in this Congress, on behalf of the University of Tetova, to the Prof. Dr. Agron Kasa, Sasho Popovski and Dr. Ilir Hasani were bestowed a gift with the portrait of Mother Teresa and the Monograph of the University of Tetova. Also, the same gift was given to the doctor Ilir Demiri, as a sign of respect and gratitude for his tireless work and for his unsparing commitment he gave during the pandemic at the Clinic of Infectious Diseases in the treatment of patients infected with Covid 19.

With the above-mentioned companies, our University also cooperates in other research projects, especially with the well-known pharmaceutical company ZEGIN, which develops a cooperation that is aimed at encouraging students of the Pharmacy Study Program. ZEGIN Pharmacy Net enables the fifth year students of the Pharmacy study Program of our University to keep practical work and deepen applied knowledge.
