Today, the Faculty of Physical Culture at the University of Tetovo marked the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace through various sports activities. In honor of this day, the unveiling of the inscription with the symbol of the Olympics took place in the outdoor premises of the Faculty of Physical Culture.
The inauguration of this inscription was done by the dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture Prof. Dr. Shpresa Memishi, UT Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, President of the Senate Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, donor Prof. Dr. Milazim Kamberi, general secretary Adem Beadini and vice-rectors Prof. Dr. Aida Baftijari – Yzeiri, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri.
The manifestation of this day has become a tradition and every year the dean’s office of this faculty together with the students organize various sports games. This year, table tennis games were held between students and professors.
The International Day of Sport for Development and Peace is celebrated on April 6th. The celebration of this day aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage the International Olympic Movement to create a promotional environment with the aim of engaging as many young people as possible in sports.
