Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, together with the President of the Senate, Prof. Kenan Ferati, the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Elezi, as well as members of the academic staff, participated on February 6, 2026, in the founding ceremony of the Pan-Albanian College of Surgeons, held in Tirana.
Albanian surgeons, guided by the vision of strengthening professional cooperation and creating a joint platform for the exchange of knowledge, skills, and resources within the surgical community, as well as for the implementation of the highest standards of surgical care, undertook an initiative that resulted in the establishment of the Pan-Albanian College of Surgeons.
In his welcoming address, the Rector of the University of Tetova emphasized that the University of Tetova has always supported initiatives related to quality and overall progress. He assessed that this initiative, through the exchange of experiences and excellence within Albanian medical practice, will have a direct impact on the professional advancement of students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, by fostering scientific development and improving clinical practices.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures from the fields of healthcare and politics.
