At the University of Tetova, a mosaic dedicated to the historical figure of the founder and first Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani, has been unveiled. This artwork was prepared by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tetova and was revealed as part of the activities marking the 30th anniversary of the University of Tetova. The university leaders emphasized that this artistic work immortalizes the contribution of the first Rector to higher education in the Albanian language and remains a guiding beacon for the present and future of students and intellectuals in our country and beyond.
The artwork created is in the form of a polyptych (mosaic), with a central canvas and 30 interconnected paintings forming the mosaic. At the center of the composition is the figure of the first Rector of the University of Tetova, depicted in his iconic stance with open hands, holding a pen and notebook. His portrait is presented as that of a scholar, gentle yet filled with pride and a vision that penetrates into our human and civilized souls, while his attire is stoic, reflecting the dignified appearance he embodied.
In the background of the composition is the majestic building of the University of Tetova, while on the sides of the central composition are paintings with motifs from 30 books, symbolizing the 30 years of the University of Tetova.
