On April 23, 2025, at the University of Tetova was held the promotional ceremony of the two latest publications of the renowned author and researcher in the field of art history, Prof. Dr. Jëlldëz Asani. The promoted works, with the titles: “Nga perspektiva e Renesansës tek iluzioni optik i Manierizmit” and “Dritëhijet e Barokut dhe teatraliteti i Rokokosë”, are an important contribution to Albanian literature on Western figurative art.

Through these two publications, the author aims to provide a structured and analytical material on the aesthetic and stylistic developments in the most significant periods of European art—ranging from the Renaissance, Mannerism, and Baroque to the Rococo era. Built on a chronological and methodological approach, these works serve as clear guides for students, researchers, and all art enthusiasts, facilitating the understanding and deeper appreciation of the cultural and artistic contexts that influenced the development of Western art.

A distinguishing feature of these publications is the inclusion of a rich collection of high-quality artistic reproductions, which not only visually enrich the text but also assist the reader in the fuller interpretation of the works of the great masters from these periods. Each illustration has been carefully selected to highlight the stylistic features and aesthetic influences that characterize these epochs.

The promotional event brought together representatives of the leadership of the University of Tetova, university professors, researchers from various fields, students, as well as art and culture enthusiasts. In his welcoming speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor, Senad Abduli, praised the valuable contribution of Prof. Dr. Jëlldëz Asani in enriching the academic literature in the Albanian language, particularly in a field where such publications are lacking in our university libraries. Meanwhile, the reviewers of the works – Prof. Dr. Mixhait Pollozhani and Prof. Dr. Metin Izeti – emphasized the scientific and pedagogical value of these publications, describing them as essential resources for developing a deeper approach to the history of art and for cultivating cultural awareness in Albanian society.
