The University of Tirana successfully concluded the third edition of the International Student Scientific Conference—an event that promotes academic excellence and students’ scientific research. The conference was also attended by the President of the Student Parliament of the University of Tetova, Mr. Leart Ibraimi. The conference covered a wide range of fields, including the humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, legal and economic sciences, communication, education and technology sciences, engineering and technological sciences, as well as cultural heritage and museums.
In his address to the audience, the President of the Student Parliament of the University of Tetova, Leart Ibraimi, stated that this gathering is not only an academic event, but also evidence of how the Albanian university space, regardless of administrative divisions or state borders, can remain united around a common goal-the advancement of knowledge, the creation of new collaborations, and the empowerment of students. “Today, through this shared platform, we bring ideas, experiences, and perspectives from four important academic centers, demonstrating that when Albanian universities come together, they create greater value than each of us individually. This conference represents a clear and long-term vision: to build an all-Albanian academic community that is open, collaborative, and innovative. A community where students can meet, present their work, discuss shared challenges, and build bridges of communication that extend beyond this day. Such collaborations are essential for improving the quality of education, creating new research projects, and strengthening our academic identity in the region. Dear students, your participation here is proof that our generation has the will, ambition, and ideas that deserve to be heard. This conference is a space where you develop not only as professionals, but also as representatives of a greater vision: an Albanian academic space that cooperates and moves forward together”, -said the President of the Student Parliament of the University of Tetova, Leart Ibraimi.
The event was held in six parallel sessions and included a total of twelve scientific panels. Overall, 460 students participated, including 12 participants from the University of Tetova and three others from the universities of Shkodra and Elbasan. A total of 208 papers were presented as oral presentations, while an additional 20 papers were presented in poster format, demonstrating the high level of engagement and research quality of the participating students. This activity represented an important step toward strengthening international cooperation, academic exchange, and the development of scientific research, creating a space in which students’ ideas and contributions received the recognition they deserved.
