Vice-Rector for Science of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti, together with the dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Alit Ibrahimi, as well as the Head of the study program of Informatics, Prof. Dr. Florim Idrizi, participated in the workshop “The impact of pandemic years to informatics education: review and next steps”, financed by the DAAD program “Dialogue with Universities at western Balkan”, with coordinator Prof. Dr. Klaus Bothe from Humboldt University in Berlin – Germany, organized in Shkodër – Republic of Albania. In this workshop, the Vice-Rector for science of UT the presented the paper entitled: The relationship between student attitudes towards online learning and environmental factors during the Covid-19 pandemic: The case study of the students of the University of Tetova.
This study aims to provide a scientific verification of the relationship between attitudes towards online learning and environmental factors, equipment, noise and distractions from other people, among the students of the University of Tetova in North Macedonia. The study presented in this training provides higher education institutions with data on the importance of environmental factors in relation to students’ attitudes towards online learning and their assessment of this form of learning during the pandemic.
Many universities from the country and the region participated in the training, including: University of Tirana, University of Maribor, University of Craiova, University of Zagreb, University of Novi Sad, University of Sarajevo, University of Plovdiv, University of Rijeka, University of Belgrade, University of Budapest, ” Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, as well as the University of Southeast Europe in Tetovo.
