In the Amphitheater “Abdylselam Emini” at the University of Tetova, was held a presentation on ProtaStructure Suite, one of the most advanced software platforms for engineering design.
This event, organized by the Faculty of Applied Sciences, was opened by Dean Prof. Dr. Enis Jakupi, who emphasized the importance of integrating modern technologies into the educational process and design practice.
Sergey Churilov, professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, spoke about the scientific relevance of using software in structural engineering.
The main presentation was delivered by Mustafa Tümer Tan, a civil engineer and manager at Prota Software from the Republic of Turkey. He provided a detailed overview of the platform’s functionalities and demonstrated its practical applications in engineering design.
This software enables static and seismic analysis of structures to ensure safety and stability; structural analysis of materials such as reinforced concrete, steel, and timber; modeling and dimensioning of structural elements; as well as the generation of calculation reports and executive drawings ready for practical implementation.
The presentation sparked great interest among students and academic staff, who had the opportunity to follow a hands-on demonstration of the modeling, analysis, and preparation process for structural implementation.
In the discussions that followed, ideas were exchanged regarding potential future collaborations between the University of Tetova and representatives from Prota Software.
