Student of the Faculty of Physical Education and former volleyball player of the women’s team of the University of Tetova, Erjona Jonuzi was part of the North Macedonian national team, that competed in the “Silver League” in the senior category. Although North Macedonia was eliminated from this competition, Erjona Jonuzi stood out with her impressive performances, especially against Latvia, where she was crowned as the best volleyball player of the match.
After finishing this sports activity, she was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Prof. Dr. Shpresa Memishi, together with the other professors, who congratulated her about her success. According to the dean, this success is the result of her tireless work and sacrifice, will and perseverance. “It is the only way to reach the heights of success. This result is also an important indicator that the professors of the Faculty of Physical Education work with their students, so that they reap success and achieve their goals in the future of their professional career”, said the Dean of Faculty of Physical Education, Prof. Dr. Shpresa Memishi.
Erjona Jonuzi currently defends the colors of the “Rabotnički” team, but previously she also played for world-renowned clubs, such as “Ordu Telekom” and “Galatasaray”, while she started her career with the volleyball team of the University of Tetova.
