Today, in the premises of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova, was carried out a visit by students of the Primary School “Liria” in Tetova, accompanied by their three teachers.
During this visit, the pupils also had the honor of being received by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, who welcomed them and wished them success in their educational journey, emphasizing the importance of knowledge and dedication in building the future.
This visit aimed to connect the theoretical knowledge of the subject Social Education with practical experience, offering pupils the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the functioning of the education system at the primary, secondary, and higher levels.
In her welcoming speech, the Vice-Dean for Education, Prof. Dr. Besa Havziu-Ismaili, emphasized the importance of every stage of education in the personal and professional development of the individual. She underlined that “in primary education we learn the basics and fundamental knowledge; in secondary education we begin to orient ourselves toward our interests; while in higher education we develop and practice the profession we choose for the future.”
Meanwhile, the professor, Arbëresha Zenki-Dalipi, head of the study program, Classroom Teaching, conducted the interactive activity “Who Am I?”, in which the pupils, through play and collaboration, had the opportunity to get to know and explore different professions, experiencing enjoyment and motivation for their future.
The atmosphere during the meeting was characterized by curiosity and enthusiasm from the pupils, demonstrating the importance of cooperation between primary schools and higher education institutions.
