The University of Tetovo and the Metrology Bureau of the Republic of North Macedonia signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti and the director of the Metrology Bureau, M.S. Merita Mustafai.

With the signing of this agreement, a framework is established for enabling a cooperation in areas of common interest, based on the use of professional, scientific, material-technical and spatial conditions between the parties, with the purpose of advancing educational, research and applicative activities, in the field of metrology, electrical engineering and information technology.
Under the agreement, the parties will co-operate in different fields from the scope of their competencies, such as: work on research-development projects, carried out through the cooperation of experts and professional teams, established by the signatory parties; preparation of master’s and doctoral thesis by the students of the University of Tetova.

The agreement also envisions the parties’ engagement in applicative projects, with particular emphasis on: defining project tasks; drafting of projects at the request of one of the signatory parties; revision of drafted projects by third parties; participation in the realization of applicative projects for the needs of third parties. Particular importance will also be given to the inclusion in the scientific-research projects, within the national, regional or EU scientific programs (particularly within the EMPIR program – European Metrology Program for Innovation and Research).
The Parties will also conduct consultative activities and professional services with experts as well as organize educational activities through continuous education of the professional staff; seminars and workshops organized at the level of the signatory parties or at a broader level with other subjects from the country and outside the Republic of North Macedonia, whose scope of work is in the interest of the signatory parties; the attendance of the employees of the second party signatories in the course of clinical lectures within the special subjects, which are taught at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, as well as a number of other activities.
