As part of the activities marking the 30th anniversary of the founding of the University of Tetova, today at the premises of the Historical Museum in the village of Poroj, the University of Tetova and the National Theater Institute of Tetovo signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The purpose of this memorandum is to advance cooperation between the Faculty of Arts and the National Theater Institute of Tetovo in the voluntary and professional engagement of students from the Faculty of Arts of the study program Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts in the Theater of Tetovo. Additionally, within this collaboration, the utilization of stage spaces and other facilities such as technical equipment, costumes, scenography, etc., for mutual needs, as well as the creation of joint projects and organizing student internships, are included.
An important point of this memorandum is also the joint promotion of events organized by the National Theater Institute of Tetovo and the University of Tetova, specifically the Faculty of Arts, in the context of creating the opportunity for the inclusion of graduation performances by students from the Faculty of Arts in the regular repertoire of the Tetova Theater. It also aims to provide opportunities for theater directing students to assist in the production of theatrical performances at the Tetova Theater, as well as the joint organization of seminars, training sessions, and workshops. Additionally, it includes the filming of performances by students from the Faculty of Arts in the Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts study program using their equipment, for the needs of the Tetova Theater.
The Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and the Director of the National Theater Institute of Tetova, Abdulla Osmani, expressed that this collaboration is an important step towards promoting education, science, art, and culture in our country, which encourages innovation and creativity in respective activities.
