The Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition at the University of Tetova has begun implementing the Green Transformation Project, developed in collaboration with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and the Green Transformation Coordinator at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
This project aims to provide training on green transformation across a wide area of the Balkans and contribute to sustainable development. One of the project’s objectives is to promote equal opportunities in accessing green transformation processes, enabling young people from various countries to receive training in green transformation and gain employment.
The project also aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of young people, expand employment opportunities in critical sectors for sustainable development, and simultaneously contribute to the principles of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
The President of TİKA, Serkan Kayalar, and the Rector of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, serve as the coordinators of the Green Transformation, while the project is implemented under the leadership of Dr. Dilvin İpek and Recep Çetinkaya from TİKA, as well as Assoc. Dr. Didem Saygın, Dr. Tuğçe Yıldız, Dr. Savaş Gürdal, and Dr. Kadir Yılmaz from Çanakkale University, meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Erhan Sulejmani acts as the coordinator from the University of Tetova. The training sessions, which have already begun in North Macedonia, are expected to continue in other countries in the future.
