Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, together with the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihu, Vice-Dean for Science at the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Musa Musai, and the Head of the Office for International Relations, Asst. Dr. Hatibe Deari-Zeqiri, held a working meeting with the director of the Institute of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of Albanians, Dr. Skender Asani, accompanied by members of the ISCHA Council, Dr. Sefer Tahiri, Dr. Zeqirja Ibrahimi and Dr. Besnik Rameti.
The main purpose of this meeting was the signing of the memorandum that includes the cooperation between the two institutions in the preservation, cultivation and development of our common language, literature, culture, tradition and values. The parties agreed that through this memorandum will be carried out the organization of scientific, educational and cultural meetings. It is foreseen also the holding of lectures by specialists in language, literature, culture, history, archeology, cultural heritage, etc.
Another important point of this memorandum is the creation and accreditation of joint study programs of the second and third degree, in the field of Albanian, historical and cultural sciences. Also, a special place is occupied by the joint scientific projects in the study fields of Albanian studies, in particular the project for writing the history of the Albanians of North Macedonia.
In addition to the above-mentioned points, this memorandum also includes mutual visits of academic staff and students; exchange of publications between the two institutions; book promotion and other academic, scientific and cultural activities of mutual interest.
