This agreement, that aims to promote cooperation, mutual understanding and development in the fields of education and scientific research, was signed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti and the Rector of Mother Teresa University, Prof. Dr. Izet Zeqiri.

The two universities will commit to scientific and educational cooperation in the conduction of joint research projects and pilot projects; exchange of research staff and professors; student exchange; organization of seminars, conferences, joint workshops; exchange of scientific publications and other materials for research and educational purposes.

In addition, are foreseen short-term visits of senior staff members for consultations, lectures and project planning; long-term visits by research and technical staff for training, postgraduate studies or participation in joint research projects; the exchange of undergraduate and postgraduate students for practical training and participation in international programs; fostering contacts with prominent scientists from other academic centers in the respective countries; promoting joint contacts with scientists in third countries to participate in large-scale international projects, as well as mutual support in the planning and implementation of visits to the respective countries.
