The University of Tetova and the Academy of Albanological Studies from the Republic of Albania intensify their cooperation in the function of institutional development and in the field of scientific research also. During his visit to the University of Tetova, the Rector of the Academy of Albanological Studies, Academician Prof. Dr. Marenglen Verli, was received in a working meeting by the Vice Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili. In this meeting it was said that new agreements for cooperation, educational activity and scientific research even in pandemic conditions should continue to be developed, always adhering to the recommendations and special protocols of state authorities.
“Of course, all attention today is on health care and maximum efforts in the battle against the spread of the coronavirus, but even in these circumstances we are committed not to disrupt the teaching-scientific process, so we have taken the necessary actions to carry out the general activity of the University even in pandemic conditions”, declared the Vice Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili.
“We consider the visits to your institution of special importance, because over the years we have cultivated cooperation and in this way we have had joint results and successes, which have left traces in the field of scientific studies. Beyond the fraternal relationship, our institutions have set an example of how great success is achieved with dedication, seriousness and work, therefore, I am glad that today with this visit we are paving the way for the formalization of another agreement, which has clear goals for education, science and further deepening of cooperation”, stressed the rector of the Academy of Albanological Studies, Academician Prof. Dr. Marenglen Verli.
The agreement formalized today, between two educational and scientific institutions includes cooperation in academic fields of common interest, based on the principles of equality and reciprocity; exchange of academic staff, researchers and students in the framework of scientific research activities; promotion, support and implementation of joint research projects; promotion, support and realization of other scientific activities (conferences, seminars and publications in areas of mutual interest), as well as the exchange of scientific literature; research of AAS archives and libraries by UT academic staff and students.
With this agreement, both academic institutions confirm the fruitful cooperation and their commitment to advancing scientific studies in the field of albanology.
