Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, together with the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Elezi, Vice-Dean for Education of the same Faculty, Prof. Dr. Nexhibe Nuhii and the Head of the Office for International Relations, Doc. Dr. Hatibe Deari – Zeqiri, held a working meeting with a.d. the Director of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices (MALMED), Mr. Farm. Spec. Lirim Shabani accompanied by his associates, Mr. Farm. Marija Trajçuleski, Mr. Farm. Jehona Aliu – Shaqiri and Mr. Farm. MBA. Eleonora Pandova.
Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli thanked the representatives of MALMED for this visit, saying that the goal of our University is to have staff prepared for the labor market, especially in the field of medicine. Meanwhile, the director of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices (MALMED) Mr. Farm. Spec. Lirim Shabani emphasized that this cooperation between the two institutions will enable the conduction of the students’ requests, but also will be used the potential and experience of the professors who teach at the University of Tetova.
This cooperation will be carried out in different fields of work, while special attention will be paid to: work on development projects – research carried out through the cooperation of teams of experts and professionals determined by the signatory parties and the preparation of master’s and doctoral theses by the students of the University, in function of projects of common interest.
As part of this cooperation, consultative activities and expert services are foreseen; educational activities, carried out through joint participation in seminars and workshops organized at the level of the signatories of the memorandum, or at an expanded level with other subjects from and outside the Republic, the scope of which is in the interest of the signatories; mutual information about events of interest to the signatories (lectures, seminars, defense of master’s and doctoral theses in the field of pharmaceutical sciences) organized by them; exchange of information on membership in domestic and international professional associations; participation, coordination and joint action in their work and in activities aimed at marking various celebrations, anniversaries, jubilees events.
