Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Enis Jakupi, the Vice-Dean for Science of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kujtim Elezi, and the Head of the Office for International Cooperation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatibe Deari – Zeqiri, met with the Director of the Institute of Science and Technology “INSI” LLC from the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Ismajl Baftijari, who was accompanied by the external collaborator of the Institute, Prof. Binak Beqa, the Head of Administration, Emine Haliti, Prof. Gëzim Hoxha, and Prof. Mevlan Bixhaku.

As part of this meeting, was signed a memorandum of cooperation for academic and professional development. This cooperation aims to strengthen the link between education and the labor market through a series of joint activities, including participation in projects, especially within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, as well as the implementation of studies, professional analyses, and projects of national and international interest.

As part of this partnership, students of the University of Tetova will be offered opportunities for internships at “INSI”, which is expected to positively impact their professional development. Additionally, the parties will organize training, seminars, and joint research activities, with the active involvement of the professors of the University of Tetova in the projects of “INSI”. Another key element of the agreement is the use of the facilities of the University of Tetova for holding activities organized by “INSI”, enabling students to benefit from training programs and professional skills development.

This memorandum represents a concrete step towards strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and creating new opportunities for students, professors, and the scientific community in general.
