Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi, and the Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition, Prof. Dr. Gafur Xhabiri, paid an official working visit today to the University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani” – Albania.
The purpose of the visit was to expand cooperation in academic and scientific research, to promote participation in joint scientific and innovative projects, and to enhance the exchange of academic staff and students.
To formalize this cooperation, an agreement was signed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and the Rector of the University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”, Prof. Dr. Elvira Fetahu.
The agreement signed between the two universities outlines that the University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani” and the University of Tetova will commit to close cooperation aimed at developing high-level academic, scientific, and research activities, with the goal of strengthening the capacities of both institutions.
The inter-university cooperation is expected to be implemented through the organization of academic and scientific activities such as seminars, conferences, symposia, and training sessions, which will contribute to expanding knowledge and exchanging experiences between academic staff and students. These activities will also focus on linking scientific research with the current needs of society and the economy, addressing topics and challenges that contribute to sustainable development.
Likewise, based on this agreement, the universities will create opportunities for the exchange of academic staff and students as a step toward developing professional and inter-institutional experiences. This exchange will include aspects of teaching, scientific research, and other activities, helping to strengthen inter-institutional relations and to develop academic and professional skills. The two higher education institutions will also work on implementing joint scientific research projects of common interest, which will contribute to advancing knowledge and solving practical and scientific problems in the fields of education and research.
The agreement signed today also extends to strengthening research and innovation capacities, creating opportunities for further international cooperation.
