At the University of Tetova, through a solemn ceremony, today were awarded scholarships for outstanding students. A total of 113 students have earned the right for the scholarship, for the results and success they have achieved in their first cycle and second cycle studies.
Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti, in his speech to the outstanding students, emphasized that the implementation of national ideals and contemporary values in education and science, in order to develop and progress future generations, remain the main vision of the University of Tetova. “This activity, which is organized within the framework of the 28th anniversary of the foundation of the university, aims to support and promote excellent students, of the first cycle and the second cycle of studies, who have achieved high results during their studies, without neglecting their continuity. We are very happy about your achievements during your studies. Efforts for knowledge should never be diminished. The great sacrifice that has been made in the past by all of us, to be right here today, should serve as the most powerful source of energy to achieve success in the future. Never forget that, you are students of a special university in the world in terms of history, so you should always be proud and present the university with dedication in the future, being at the service of work and people. Respect and thank your parents and all those who have supported you during your studies and continue to do good deeds and work to achieve the goals you have set for yourself”, said the Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti.
He further stated that, based on the conditions and criteria determined by the Decision of the Senate of the University of Tetova, a total of 96 students of the first cycle and 17 students of the second cycle of studies have successfully fulfilled the required educational criteria of GPA accumulated credits and continuity of studies, to earn the university scholarship in the academic year 2022/23. I use the opportunity to emphasize that the University of Tetova is the only university in the country that awards scholarships to second-cycle students, even though these studies are considered to be mostly fully self-financed studies. With this activity, we are taking a step forward in building our common future, because the University of Tetova is a trust that we all must carry together forever from generation to generation”, this is how concluded his speech the Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti.
