Today at the University of Tetova through a solemn ceremony were awarded scholarships for outstanding students. For the academic year 2021/22 scholarships benefited about 90 students attending the first and second cycle studies.
Vice-Rector for Education of the University of Tetova Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili addressed the students with greeting speech. In his speech, he said that the University of Tetova, as the hearth of higher education in the Albanian language and the research center in our country and beyond, every year accomplish the priorities of academic activity, and thus marks the concrete results in the field. of education, research and scientific research. “In this month, which is also known as the month of great events for our national history, such as the Alphabet Day- Congress of Manastir and our national flag, along with other activities that take place at the University, the awarding of scholarships for our excellent, already occupies the place it deserves, and as such, represents one of our common successes. On this occasion, to the deans of the faculties, professors, students, employees of the administration, I express my congratulations for this activity that we organize today, as one of the most special events in the general activity of the University of Tetova. With the joint contribution, dedication and serious commitment of each of us, we have managed to meet the expectations in education and science, therefore, the awarding of scholarships for outstanding students is the proof that our university is identified as an institution of competition for knowledge, but also of great opportunities “- said the Vice Rector for Education of UT Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili.
He further stated that, in accordance with the Law on Higher Education, the University Statute and the decision of the Senate, approved by the Rector, today we award the university scholarships for 64 first cycle students and 22 second year students in academic year 2021/22.
In the occasion of awarding of scholarships of students also were present the Vice-Rector for Science Prof. Dr. Hazir Pollozhani, Vice-Rector for International Relations Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu, President of the Student Parliament Eliesa Zhaku, deans and students’ families.
