At the University of Tetova, today were awarded 22 scholarships for exemption from tuition fees for excellent students of the second cycle of studies. Initially, students were welcomed in a meeting by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti and his associates. During this meeting, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti congratulated the students for their success during the studies and encouraged them that after the end of the second cycle of studies to continue with third cycle studies of studies, PhD studies, because only in this way our society will have professionals, who all the gained knowledge and their experiences will always put in the service of society.
Vice-Rector for Education of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili said that this is the fifth year that University of Tetova awards scholarships for outstanding students. “By the Senate’s decision of 2013, i.e. for five years now, University of Tetova awards scholarships for outstanding students. This year were also selected outstanding students, where as a criterion for winning the scholarship was the success of the undergraduate studies, as well as the first year’s success in the second cycle of studies, which last two years. Among other things, the criterion was that the student to have an average success of 9.5, but in addition to the success that the student should have had during the studies, all those students who have competed have undergone an interview, which means that the number of students who have competed for scholarships has been greater, compared to the number of these students who are now winners of the scholarship, but the criteria, conversations and interviews that have been developed have been in a way to distinguish the outstanding students”- said Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili.
Scholarships were bestowed to excellent students by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti. After receiving the scholarships, students were satisfied with the assessment that the University makes to them. “For me personally this is my fifth experience, i.e. for the fifth time I am rewarded by the University and of course I thank the University in general and the Rector in particular” – said the student of the Faculty of Law, Beiza Selimi.
The student of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Rushan Hoda, highly appreciated the commitment of the University leaders for their care to student. “We are very grateful for these scholarships bestowed by the University of Tetova, we are grateful to the Rector, the academic staff and the whole University. This shows that our work is appreciated and we are very grateful for the received scholarships”- said Rushan Hoda.
Student of the Faculty of Philology, Kaltrina Sadiki said that the University of Tetova has always treated the students equally, by evaluating our work and sacrifice as students. “This is a very good opportunity that our University gives to the students that equally with all other students continue their studies, with the possibility of not paying the semesters. I thank all those who have taken care of encouraging students in this form” – said Kaltrina Sadiki.
