A delegation from the University of Tetova participated in the “12th International Symposium on Human Horizons / 8th International Festival of Post-Contemporary Art” with the central theme “Education, Humanism and Artificial Intelligence”
The delegation of the UT was led by the Vice-Rector for Finance, Prof. Dr. Aida Yzeiri-Baftijari, while the team also included the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi, the Vice-Dean for Education, Prof. Dr. Besa Havziu-Ismaili, Prof. Dr. Makfirete Ameti, and MSc. Memet Selmani.
At this important international event, Prof. Dr. Besa Havziu-Ismaili was the keynote speaker and presented a paper titled: “Education Between Reforms and Humanization”
During their stay at the symposium, in addition to presenting scientific papers, the delegation of the UT held a working meeting with Prof. Dr. Fatih Mutlu Özbilen – a member of the Organizing Committee from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Republic of Turkey – as well as with the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Özdemir.
The Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova already has a well-established collaboration in the co-organization of international scientific conferences. During this meeting, they also discussed expanding this cooperation, focusing on the challenges that artificial intelligence and digitalization bring to education. The parties agreed that this new collaboration will begin in the summer semester of the 2025/26 academic year.
The University of Tetova continues to be present on important international academic platforms, contributing ideas, collaborations, and perspectives aimed at modernizing education and strengthening its role in the digital age.
