University of Tetova has become an important part of the implementation of the Nationwide Academic and Scientific Book Fair program, which will take place from April 23-25, 2025, in Prishtina.
This event is being held for the fourth time and is organized by the Kosova Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Academy of Sciences of Albania, and the National Book and Reading Center in Albania.
On the second day, the University of Tetova, in front of the audience participating in this event, which is significant for Albanian education, science, and culture, presented two publications. Representatives of UT, the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihu, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti from the Office for Science and Innovation, and the Director of the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication, MSc. Donika Kamberi, promoted several publications, such as the works of the founder and first historic Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani, and the publication by the Center for Peace, “The Future of the Western Balkans After the Russian Aggression on Ukraine: What Next?”
The organizers of this fair, during the official opening ceremony, described this event as a meeting that brings together the publications of Albanian scholars and offers the opportunity to view scientific publications up close in a unique activity dedicated to them.
In conclusion, the organizers emphasized that the presence and contribution of the University of Tetova at this fair is clear evidence of its commitment to knowledge, scientific research, and the promotion of Albanian academic values. They highly valued this institution as an important center of scientific thought and as a valuable partner in building bridges of cooperation between universities and the wider Albanian intellectual community.
