As part of expanding interinstitutional cooperation and strengthening its role in social development, the University of Tetova, on April 16, 2026, signed two cooperation memorandums with important international and regional organizations: the Universal Peace Federation and Youth and Students for Peace Balkan.

The first cooperation memorandum with the Universal Peace Federation was signed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and the Secretary General of the Universal Peace Federation in Albania, Mr. Gani Rroshi. This memorandum aims to promote a culture of peace and develop joint activities in areas such as education, art, sports, media, and community service, through conferences, forums, seminars, and various projects.

Meanwhile, the second memorandum with Youth and Students for Peace Balkan was signed by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and the Executive Director of YSP Balkan, Ejona Icka. This cooperation focuses on youth empowerment and community development through educational, social, cultural, and youth activities, including training sessions, sports activities, and initiatives for well-being and social inclusion.

Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, emphasized that these agreements are an important step toward the internationalization of the university and increasing its impact on society. He underlined that cooperation with these organizations creates new opportunities for students and academic staff, while also contributing to the promotion of values such as peace, dialogue, and institutional development.

The signed memorandums foresee the implementation of joint activities, the exchange of experiences, and the building of long-term partnerships aimed at advancing education and improving the quality of life in the community.
