The Faculty of Law at the University of Tetova organized a memorial academy today in honor of the life and work of Prof. Dr. Asllan Bilalli.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Safet Emruli, stated that Professor Bilalli was a jurist with a long career in the field of private international law and Roman law. “He made significant contributions to the development of legal education in the region and was actively involved in important academic and judicial institutions. For more than 40 years, he remained loyal to his word, the law, and the University, shaping legal thought in Kosovo and Macedonia with dedication, integrity, and dignity. His lectures were not only theoretical lessons but also guides for life and profession. He taught us that justice is not just a concept, but a daily commitment to building a better society”, said the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Safet Emruli.
The biography of Professor Asllan Bilalli was presented by Professor of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Arbër Ademi. He referred to Professor Asllan Bilalli as an emblematic and important figure in the Albanian academic world, not only in Kosovo but also in North Macedonia, who made a valuable contribution to the development of education, the establishment of universities, and the shaping of Albanian legal thought.
On behalf of the family of the deceased, his son, Bilall Bilalli, spoke and thanked the University of Tetova, emphasizing that his father dedicated his life to this university and to education.At this memorial academy, professors, colleagues, former students, representatives of institutions, family members, and friends were present, who came to remember the extraordinary contribution of Prof. Dr. Asllan Bilalli in the fields of law and education.
