The Student Parliament of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Tetova started the awareness campaign for the month of October, which is universally known as breast cancer awareness month.
Based on this, today the students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, in the center of the city of Tetova, have shared informative materials on the care that should be given to breast cancer. Citizens who have visited the tents of the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Medical Sciences have had the opportunity to learn more about this disease, the symptoms, the treatment that must be done, mammography, diagnosis and much other information.
Through this activity, students conveyed the message that when we raise our voices together, we help spread the word about the importance of screening and support for breast cancer treatment. The students appealed to citizens to join them in getting more people involved during breast cancer awareness month.
The breast cancer awareness campaign was also joined by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Elezi, the President of the Student Parliament, Eliesa Zhaku and the President of the Student Parliament of FMS, Ladon Murseli,.
