The fifth-year students of Dentistry of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Tetova actively continue to follow the professional practice in the courses of Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology, which are taught by Prof. Dr. Qenan Ferati. The professional internship of our students is developed in accordance with all recommendations, respectively the protocols of the health authorities in our country.
Prof. Dr. Qenan Ferati expressed his consideration for the students of Dentistry of the University of Tetova, who even in these circumstances have shown high commitment and interest in maxillofacial surgery, a profession that they will pursue during their future careers. “Since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, we have made additional investments, firstly to protect the health of patients and medical staff who have been working for years in our dental polyclinic. In addition, in our polyclinic there is also an educational center, which mainly organizes professional trainings for students of the study program of dentistry, medical staff and we conduct these trainings together with several other dental centers. All the interventions that we perform on patients, students have the opportunity that through the digital equipment to follow directly from the hall of the educational center and this is a great help for us, that in addition to the knowledge that they receive, at the same time it helps us to maintain the necessary distance against the spread of the Coronavirus “- said Prof. Dr. Qenan Ferati.
