The volleyball club of the University of Tetova, in the men’s category (on March 20, 2021), has scored a very important victory against Strumica in the transfert, causing the local team the first loss of the season. The match ended 2 to 3 in sets for the team of the University of Tetova, but thanks to the perseverance and will of the volleyball players, the deserved victory belonged to our team.
In addition to the positive results in the championship, the team of the University of Tetova is also a contender to win the Cup of North Macedonia. This week will draw the lot for the semi-finals, where our team will face one of the teams like Shkëndija, Vardar or Strumica.
The semi-finals will be played on Friday, while the final on Sunday. All matches will be played in Strumica, without the presence of the public due to protective measures to prevent Covid-19.
Regarding the progress of the team and the draw within the Cup, team captain Hamza Veseli said that the team is on the right path, prepared, motivated and ready for trophy, while he believes that the team of the University of Tetova is the favorite to win the Cup of Macedonia.
Meanwhile, the team of the University of Tetova, in the women’s category, suffered a defeat by Nakovski Volley, 3 to 1 in sets. This match was also played in Strumica.
