Today is the 111th anniversary of the birth of our saint (on August 26, 1910), as we are fortunate to belong to the nation of Mother Teresa, whom She represented with the values and virtues that today knows the whole world.
At the University of Tetova, we have organized countless events and activities of educational and scientific character, we have marked different anniversaries of our national history, we have inaugurated publications, magazines and important works of the most eminent national and international personalities, but we feel happy as never before that our University has dedicated a scientific activity – the consecration (on September 4, 2016), of Mother Teresa, Nobel Peace Prize, Albanian saint, the greatest humanist the world has known.
The consecration of Mother Teresa perpetuated the values of her gigantic personality, the saint who lived among people, who taught them generosity, charity, compassion, mercy, and altruism. For the saint of love, wisdom and mercy, eminent personalities around the world have given the highest praise, for her hundreds of views have been published in the world’s most prestigious magazines, dozens of books have been published about her activity, humanity, and boundless love.
We have a national obligation to protect, remember and honor her name and figure of universal proportions, the unique and incomparable personality of our missionary, who with kindness, humanity and devotion became the most admired symbol of the twentieth century.
