In the jubilee year of the foundation of the University of Tetova, Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, as a sign of gratitude and respect for the contributions made to the management and development of the University of Tetova, expressed his appreciation to the rectors who have led this institution over the years: Prof. Dr. Nexhbedin Beadini, Prof. Dr. Sadi Bexheti, Prof. Dr. Vulnet Ameti, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili, as well as Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti. In his speech, he stated that through this gesture, the leadership of the institution seeks to honor and acknowledge the contributions of each rector to the growth and development of UT during different periods since its establishment, until this jubilee year when we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the foundation.
This meeting today serves not only as a gesture of gratitude but also as a consultative, motivating, and corrective endeavor aimed at shaping the vision of the future. Alongside all the previous rectors, we acknowledge that this university has a unique and prosperous history, encompassing its foundation, organization, development, perspective, mission, and vision. We, as leaders, deem it appropriate to evaluate the work of each past rector today, as we have done in the past. The challenges encountered at every stage of our university’s development have been numerous and specific, yet through dedication, commitment, and effort, each rector has contributed to our institution’s progress. As a result, we have evolved into a formidable competitor in the realms of education, knowledge, and science, boasting advanced infrastructure and a highly qualified academic staff. We also extend our gratitude to all rectors, including the first historical Rector and founder of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani, and those not physically present here today”- added, among other things, the Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli.
Meanwhile, the former rectors of the UT assessed that whoever has led the UT, in addition to the responsibility and commitment he had in running this temple, should feel proud of every moment, because the dream of Albanians for raising UT on the same pedestal as local universities and has achieved extraordinary scope in the international arena by creating partnerships with renowned universities from Europe and the USA.
They also emphasized that at any moment they will be collaborators, correctors and supporters of the vision and mission of the University of Tetova.
