Through a solemn welcoming ceremony, the University of Tetova today officially marked the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year. A considerable number of students from North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and other countries were present at the amphitheater “Sevasti and Parashqevi Qiriazi”. The ceremony was attended by: The President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Kenan Ferati; the Vice-Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri; the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti; the Vice-Rector for Finance, Prof. Dr. Aida Baftjari Yzeiri; the Secretary General, Mr. Adem Beadini; faculty deans, and other university staff.
He welcomed all the new students who had joined this institution of higher education in the Albanian language. According to him, this is only the first step toward pursuing dreams and achieving goals. “As all of you embark on this new journey, it is important to remember that you are not alone. We are here to support and guide you every step of the way. This institution is more than just a place to study — it is a place that will support you and celebrate every success you achieve. We will continuously strive to create a better educational environment for you and help you reach your academic goals. As a symbolic gesture, the leadership of our University handed out student record books (Indexes) to our students. The University of Tetova continues to be a reference point in higher education, offering numerous opportunities for the professional development of its students.
