On July 4, on the Independence Day of the United States of America, the University of Tetova had the honor of welcoming a delegation of Albanian-American students from Harvard University, who are conducting a study visit in Albanian-inhabited regions as part of the project “Cultural and Academic Immersion in Albanian Lands”, organized by the Harvard Albanian Students Association.
The delegation was led by Mr. Faton Limani, Senior Lecturer in Leadership at Harvard University, and was received at the University of Tetova by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti, the Vice-Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi, as well as the head of the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication, MSc. Donika Kamberi.
During the meeting, the students were introduced to the history and development of the University of Tetova, its mission, as well as the contribution the university has made to the advancement of knowledge and overall development. They also had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with history, language, culture, and cultural heritage, engaging in discussions on the importance of preserving identity and strengthening ties with the diaspora.
The visit took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, confirming the University of Tetova’s commitment to expanding international cooperation and building partnerships that promote knowledge, intercultural dialogue, and the exchange of academic experiences.
