Third-year students of the Architecture program at the Faculty of Applied Sciences (UT), within the course “Architectural Constructions 3B”, on April 15, 2026, carried out a study visit to the “Knauf” factory in the city of Debar, as well as to the mine that supplies this factory.

The visit was organized with the aim of familiarizing students with real production processes of construction materials, including the extraction of raw materials, their processing, and their application in the construction industry. Through this experience, they had the opportunity to deepen the theoretical knowledge gained during lectures and directly compare it with professional practice.

The group of students was guided by assistants Islam Imeri and Albin Haliti, who contributed to the organization and smooth running of this study visit.

University of Tetova promotes such activities, contributing to the professional development of students. Visits of this kind represent an important step toward preparing new generations of architects, bringing them closer to the reality of the profession and the challenges they face.
