At the Department of Psychology of the University of Tetova, today was held a lecture on the topic: “Intercultural Communication and Business – Increasing demand for working with people of different cultural backgrounds”, by American Professor Dan Fellner, Fullbright Program specialist.

According to him, today many companies develop overseas business and employ different labor force. The odds are high for each of us to collaborate with other colleagues, clients, or suppliers with different cultural backgrounds. So the way how we communicate with them can affect the success or failure of our career.
Today’s lecture was preceded by a meeting of the American professor with the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Ibish Kadriu, who informed Professor Fellner about the general work of the Faculty of Philosophy and discussed about the possibility of new educational-scientific collaborations. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Psychology Department, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Murtezani, who assessed that this event is important for the study program of Psychology, since Professor Dan Fellner is a personality with proven professional, academic and international experience, thus today’s lecture elaborates on a contemporary topic and is related to the curriculum of psychology and other sciences.
