As part of the activities promoting the 2026/2027 academic offer, the University of Tetova, through the Faculty of Economics, carried out a promotional activity with high school graduates at the High School “Zef Lush Marku” – Skopje.
Within this framework, a workshop titled “Your decisions today, tomorrow’s economy” was successfully organized, bringing together students interested in deepening their knowledge in the field of economics and becoming more closely acquainted with the study programs of the Faculty of Economics.
The workshop was led by the Vice-Dean for Education, Prof. Dr. Elsana Aqifi, in coordination with the heads of study programs. Through case studies on economic decision-making during periods of economic and financial crises, students were encouraged to better understand the importance of making sustainable and well-argued decisions.
The activity was designed as an interactive and practical workshop, where high school graduates had the opportunity to express their ideas and viewpoints regarding ways of coping with challenging economic situations. Through analyses and structured discussions, they gained a clearer understanding of the short-term and long-term consequences of economic decisions.
During the workshop, the students demonstrated a high level of engagement and critical thinking, offering creative and well-argued solutions to the presented challenges. The discussions highlighted the importance of economic education from the early stages of schooling.
This activity aimed to raise young people’s awareness of the impact of their decisions on future economic outcomes, encouraging them to develop analytical and decision-making skills—essential competencies for addressing the challenges of an ever-changing economic environment.
