At the premises of the Faculty of Education in Prishtina, on 8 May 2026, the ceremony for the signing of a memorandum of cooperation was held between the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova and the Faculty of Education of the University of Prishtina.
This memorandum aims to strengthen and expand inter-institutional cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, innovative activities, and international projects. The cooperation will include joint scientific research, the organization of conferences, seminars, and methodological activities, the professional development of academic staff, as well as collaboration in publications and international projects.
Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova was represented by Dean Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi, Vice-Dean for Education Prof. Dr. Besa Havziu-Ismaili, Vice-Dean for Science Prof. Dr. Teuta Ramadani-Rasimi, and Faculty Secretary MrSc. Mirvete Shabani.
Meanwhile, the Faculty of Education of the University of Prishtina was represented by Dean Prof. Assoc. Dr. Blerim Saqipi, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs – Bachelor, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rozafa Ferizi Shala, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs – Master Prof. Assoc. Dr. Kyvete Shatri, Vice-Dean for Science and Development Prof. Assist. Dr. Blerta Perolli Shehu, and Faculty Secretary Milaim Mazreku.
On this occasion, on behalf of the University of Tetova, the Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Prishtina, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Blerim Saqipi, was presented with the Monograph of the University of Tetova, signed with a dedication by the Vice-Rector for Science of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti. This symbolic gesture was made as a sign of appreciation for the support that the University of Prishtina and its Faculty of Education have provided to the University of Tetova and its Faculty of Pedagogy over the years, particularly during the period of the university’s establishment and after its official recognition.
Following the signing ceremony, the delegation from the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova visited the facilities of the Faculty of Education in Prishtina, where they were introduced to the faculty’s laboratories and classrooms. During the meeting, constructive discussions were held and ideas were exchanged for expanding cooperation through the implementation of joint academic, scientific, and professional activities.
Both parties emphasized the importance of academic and scientific cooperation between institutions, noting that this memorandum will contribute to improving the quality of education, exchanging professional experiences, and strengthening regional and international collaboration.
