Within the framework of activities for marking the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Tetova, Faculty of Physical Culture, organized a traditional tournament in futsal. In this tournament competed the students from all academic units of our University.
The third place match took place between the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition and the Faculty of Medical Sciences, while the final was held between the students of the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Physical Culture. The winner of this tournament was the Faculty of Physical Culture.
After finishing the final match, prizes were awarded for the first three places. Third place was won by the team of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, while the cup was handed by the Chairman of Student Parliament, Islam Imeri. The team of the Faculty of Philology, as the winner of the second place, was awarded the cup by the dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Prof. Dr. Haki Ismaili, while the winners of the tournament were awarded by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Dr. Fatmir Sulejmani. The main tournament cup, the transitional cup (which stays one year in the wineglasses of the winning faculty, to be transferred next year to the other faculties), was shared by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti.
So far, the winners of this tournament were the team of the Faculty of Economics in the academic year 2014/15, the team of the Faculty of Physical Culture 2015/16, the Faculty of Business Administration 2016/17, the team of Law Faculty 2017/18 and in the last tournament was the team of Faculty of Physical Culture 2018/19.
