The opening of the proceedings of the conference were welcomed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, who said that, in accordance with the purpose of the conference, we have the opportunity to present research and more acceptable pedagogical – didactic approach, to examine the different dimensions and methods of educational work, and was convinced that solutions will be found for the problem of the educational process. “With the development of the science as a whole and the development of the pedagogical point of views, more and more every day is enriched the pedagogical theory and practice, the organizational forms of teaching – educational work are constantly being altered and modernized, with the aim of intensifying the learning process. In democratic societies, in the market economy, with free circulation of capital and human ideas, favorable conditions for the development of science and technology were created, which at the same time become an integral part of social progress. Science and technology, free from social influence, speeds up the progress of work, increases its effect and material base as a whole. Therefore, from this perspective, the education significantly contributes to the strengthening of the personality of man and the society as a whole. Implementation and utilization of contemporary technology, now is a pedagogical imperative, since it has been scientifically verified that the greatest efficiency in the teaching process and scientific research is achieved only if contemporary means and technologies are used” – said the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti. He underlined also that education and contemporary schools cannot be reformed and modernized without the application of contemporary technologies.
“The overwhelming process of globalization is an opportunity and a call for cooperation between nations, certain groups, intellectual elite, that with ideas, free thinking and their knowledge contribute in many spheres of life, education, science and culture”- said the Rector of UT.
Rector of the International University of Novi Pazar, Prof. Dr. Suad Beçiroviç, said that today’s conference that we organize in cooperation with the University of Tetova is a very successful project and this is a strong testimony that intercollegiate cooperation in the Balkans is of special importance. According to him, higher education should play a vital role in promoting peace, tolerance, understanding and creating mutual trust between people. “There is no doubt that education is the engine of development of any society and I think that everyone will agree that it the change of the method of education on the basis of social demands is inevitable. For us as universities is very important to harmonize our offer with the labor market demand, since in this way we will increase the employment and, of course, we will influence the overall social development. We as academic institutions shouldn’t dare to be submissive from the needs of the labor market, because we educate staff for the needs of a particular sector. What will happen if a certain sector doesn’t exist in the future? Where will our graduates work? We shouldn’t and we couldn’t teach our students about everything, most of the things they will learn themselves, but we must teach them about the methodology of critical thinking, of methodology of how to gain knowledge, how to learn the creative methods, etc. For this reason, we as professors and institutions should be innovative”- said the Rector of the International University of Novi Pazar, Prof. Dr. Suad Beqiroviç.
Participants of this conference were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Fadbi Osmani and the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the International University of Novi Pazar, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Fetiç.
