The Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Skopje, His Excellency Andrea Silvestri, today paid a visit to the University of Tetova. He was received in a meeting by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili, and Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Dr. Berton Sulejmani and professor of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Faton Shabani.

In this meeting was discussed about the empowerment of the study program of Romanian Philology, the course of Italian Language and Literature within the Faculty of Philology and the assistance that the Italian Embassy can provide in strengthening and building the capacity of the relevant department. Also, were discussed other opportunities for cooperation at the academic level between our university and universities from the Republic of Italy.
Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili expressed gratitude to the Italian Ambassador for the cooperation and support that the Italian people through the Italian Embassy in Skopje have given and give to the University of Tetova, since its foundation.

During his stay at the University of Tetova, the Ambassador of Italy also conducted a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts of UT, Prof. Dr. Nafi Jashari and the professor of this faculty Associate Professor, Nora Halimi, where it was discussed about the realization of several joint projects in the field of art.
