On the basis of the memorandum signed between the University of Tetova and JSC Power Plants of North Macedonia (JSC ESM Skopje), this joint-stock company also awarded five scholarships to students of the University of Tetova this academic year. Beneficiaries of these scholarships’ worth of 8000 denars per month (for ten months a year), were the students of the Study Program of Informatics of the UT. The selection of candidates was made on the basis of the average success, not less than 8.0 points obtained during the enrollment at the faculty and the results of the interview conducted by the commission consisting of two representatives from JSC ESM and one representative from the University of Tetova.
In this scholarship awarding event, the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli expressed his gratitude for the correct cooperation with JSC ESM and appreciated the fact that the students are the ones who benefit from the cooperation between these two institutions.
While Deputy the General Director of JSC ESM, Imer Zenku, thanked the students for their interest in applying for these scholarships, and stated that this cooperation is in mutual interest for the preparation of staff who will respond to the labor market.
So far, this practice of awarding scholarships has given good results, increasing the number of students interested in enrolling in the Faculty of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the UT.
